Hip Hop Master Class with Devon Perri

Fresh from working with Ne-Yo, Devon is at Sunshine Studios Manchester ready to share his skills with you!!!!

Devon is from Toronto, Ontario but now resides in LA and has been dancing since the age of 6. He has performed in many industrials for such companies as; CBC, UMAC Awards, East Coast Music Awards, MMVA's, CNE, AT&T, Telus, and he has had the opportunity performing with the Black Eyed Peas, The JB's and Grand Master Flash.
His choreography can be seen in the tap scenes of the movies; Steppin' Up - Paramount MTV and Honey - Universal Pictures. His music video credits include; Timbaland - Cop That Disc, K-OS - Superstar, K-OS - Crab Bucket, Ray Robinson - Girlfriend, Yasmeen - Blue Jeans and many more. He has appeared in commercials for Marshall's - National, Lotto 6/49 and Dairy Farmers of Ontario-Milk. He is also a member of 'Next Tip' dance company based out of Toronto, as well as currently teaching at Millenium Dance Studios, LA.

Ellen Kim (Co-director of The Lost Kids/NeverLand) has been blessed to share her passion for dancing with people from all parts of the world covering cities from the Bay Area, East Coast, Australia, Singapore, UK, Germany, Norway, etc. These amazing opportunities to share her love for dancing and choreographing keeps her motivated and very inspired. Teaching and spreading her passion for dancing to all different kinds of dancers keeps her going strong!! She has also danced with Amerie, LL Cool J, Snoop Dog and STOMP. Hip Hop Dance Sunday School

(Limited spaces per group, taking applications now).
Sunshine Studios Dance Sunday School with some of the industries top dance teachers who've danced for many of your biggest stars, tours and music videos! Courses are for all age ranges and abilities. Under 9yrs, Under 12yrs, Under 16yrs, 16+ with 25 students maximum in each group. Every Student will come out the 12 weeks having learnt all the correct techniques for each dance style and become stronger dancers by the end of it. The course will consist of Hip Hop, Street, Locking, Popping and Break Dancing as well as a few little surprises!

Course runs from 10am – 2pm or 11am-3pm with breaks every Sunday. £156 for the whole course which is equivalent to £13 per week.
All courses run for twelve weeks, with a one week half term break after the first six weeks.

This is a 6 week course designed to take someone who has never danced before to a level, where you as the absolute novice can dance confidently and comfortably and join other dance classes.

Make Up, Hair and Modelling Workshops
We run courses and workshops designed to help you make the best of yourself and boost your confidence. Being well presented is essential in any situation and the team at The Grooming Academy can make a difference and help you stand out from the crowd. From learning how to correctly apply make up, styling your hair and dressing in a stylish way to picking up the tricks and tips on general grooming such as waxing, eyebrow shaping and tanning, you will learn a huge amount on our course.

Our exciting, informative and unique eight week course which covers everything from learning make-up skills, exercise techniques, photo shoot posing to catwalking, acting and fashion styling starts 10 February 2010.

Makeup, Hair and Modelling Workshops for 6-18 year old girls Starting at 10.30am till 2.30pm the workshop involves a make up and hair demonstration after which, students practice on themselves under the supervision of the professionals. A photographer will then be doing a photo shoot posing lesson followed by a photo shoot of each student. We then do catwalking lessons. It is a fun filled day which at the same time builds confidence and self esteem.

Birthday Party Workshops
The Grooming Academy also runs a party service with a difference. If you are looking for a new theme for your daughter's birthday, the Grooming Academy team can host a 2 or 3 hour workshop at Sunshine Studio's covering make up, photo posing and cat walking. We even bring a catwalk! All girls love make-up, even at a young age, so we have created this package just for them.

We give a make up and hair demonstration then let the girls go wild applying our make up and doing their hair (under our supervision). After that our photographer will do photo shoot of each girl plus a
group shot (prints can be orders at cost), we then finish off by cat walking to funky music which the girls love!
